Frog O'Faire

The Frog O'Faire has been around for many years. Abbigail's Mother & Uncle enjoyed it when they were young. Abbigail attend her first Frog O'Faire when she was just 2 weeks old. Here are
some pictures over the last 3 "O'Faires" Everyone has sure grown!

Trip to Applegate Lake

On Tuesday afternoon, Abbigail's Daddy decided it was a good day to go fishing, so we ventured out to Applegate Lake. Mommy quickly threw clothes and snacks in a bag, loaded the kids in the van and off we went.
It was a very warm day, and a long trip to the lake with no air conditioning in the minivan; so we were glad to finally see the water. Abbigail of course fell asleep during the ride there, but soon woke up and was eager to go swimming.
With her Little Mermaid tube, and her Mommy by her side, she ventured out in the water. The water was a little cold (especially since she had just woke up from her nap) and she began to shiver a little. When asked if she wanted to get out, she said "No, go swimming"
Unfortunately her Mommy forget the camera, so no pictures of Abbigail's first experience swimming in Applegate Lake.

Mall Adventures: Escalators and Horses

Abbigail had a fun day today with her Mom and Nana. She had a trip to Ashland and then back to Medford so her Mommy could get her school things squared away.

She had fun crawling on the floor at Ross like a dog and being cute for the old ladies at Costco. Her adventures at the mall included going up and down the escalators. Everytime she saw them we had to go up and down them a few times, she could stay on them all day long! But was okay leaving the escalators with the promise of being able to ride them again "in a little bit"

Abbigail also had her first experience riding a "horse" at the mall today. Most days she pays no attention to the quarter-operated rides in the mall, but today took interest in the horse. Nana was quick to insert the 50cents into the machine so that Abbigail could go on her first "horsey" ride.

Trip to The Trees of Mystery

Abbigail went on her first trip to the Trees of Mystery on June 17th, 2009. She had a great time running around through the trees but her favorite part was going on the Sky Trail. We thought she would be scared getting into the Gondola, but she loved it. When we got to the top and had to get out she cried. We reassured her that we would go back on it again on our return trip.

Afterwards, she went on the Trail of Tall Tales. This is when Mommy's camera battery died, so she was unable to take pictures of all the fun carvings we saw. Abbigail was sad that we were done with the Gondola, and cried and said "Try Again, Try Again!"

After leaving the Trees of Mystery, we drove up to Brookings and set up camp at Harris Beach. This was the second time Abbigail slept in a tent (The first time she was just 2 months old!) She got to walk on the beach and put her feet in the water before heading back up to camp and roasting marshmellows! She thought that they were really good, and would only eat them off the stick (even if they weren't roasted).

The next morning we had to leave early since Daddy had to be at work. We went and ate breakfast where Abbigail ate all of the strawberries off of her Mommy's waffle.
